Hi everyone it's nice to meet you I hope to gain some new friends and hopefully some help dealing with as I was diagnosed with Ankylosing Spondylitis a year ago they believed that started in my early teens or late teen years I have already significant damage to my neck the healthy curve that is supposed to be there is no longer there they also discovered that I have degenerative disk in my back Obama ankylosing spondylitis and what they believed could be my upper back or my hip area they refused to put me on any pain pills because I'm too young they want to do shots in my back and I told them no I've heard horror stories about swelling and other symptoms they have tried anti-inflammatory drugs and it doesn't seem to help I've been to therapy at least three times in the last 5 years there's not a day in my life that I am paying for you I'm constantly in pain I work a job and to be honest if I could quit I would because it's hell that's how I describe my pain is just how I am miserable after work I am a janitor so I'm constantly doing heavy lifting bending I'm on my feet all the time I do have a good support system with the people that live by me they understand most of them understand that I'm in pain and it's a disease that I have and there's nothing I can do about it I do my best to live with it but because I'm so new to having ankylosing spondylitis I would really appreciate it if I could hear back from you guys and hopefully someone will help me deal with all that things I have going on with me

Hey Tdawg, just checking in on you. I know it's been a long time since you posted. I'm really sorry you didn't receive any responses. We are still building this site up. But I am wondering how you are doing. How are you? I know you have had so much to deal with, your job, your pain, and this new diagnosis. I hope you will check in and let me know how you are doing. Take good care of yourself, my friend.
